"Nigel," BISS GCH Aranel Renaissance, has proven himself in the show ring but especially as a stud dog. To date (3/13) Nigel has produced 16 AKC champions and next month at this years AKC national I will accept his ROM (registry of merit) award for his outstanding producing ability.
In 2008 my friend Janet Dalton and I were fortunate enough to bring Nigel over as a puppy from Mark Smith and Rick Aldous. Nigel's sire English CH Aranel Cosmic continues to be one of the top producers in the UK and was bred and owned by Rick and Mark.
With Janet's passing in Oct. of 2011 Nigel now resides with me where he is much loved and lacks for nothing his little doggie heart desires. His easy going loving personality make him a favorite with me and my husband Ron.
Words can not express to Rick and Mark how much I appreciate that they let this lovely boy come to the states. I also would like to thank the other breeders who have incorporated him into their breeding programs.
In 2012 we had Michelle Jones show Nigel as a special for part of the year. As expected he loved the traveling and showing with Michelle. He was only out from February to June and was ranked as #9 cavalier at year end. He is shown here getting one of his many group placements.
In June 2012 Nigel was Best in Specialty Show at the Blue Ridge CKCS Club in Fletcher NC. Our sincere thanks to breeder judge Charlie Fippin.
Nigel is pictured here going Best of Breed at the 2010 Central Carolina CKCS Club show in Pinehurst NC. Janet and I both thank our judge for the day Ms Lucy Koster (Haranna CKCS) for such a prestigious win. This is truly one of the greatest dog show wins in my career. To have a well know UK judge who has been in the breed her entire life to give Nigel such recognition was a real honor. Having just turned 3 years old Nigel seems to only be getting better with age.
Nigel is shown here winning a group placement in Hampton VA shows in 2009. Shown by Gwen this was Nigel's first (but not last) group placement.
Nigel is shown here at just 12 months old going Best in Sweepstakes in 2008 at the Central Carolina CKCS Club specialty show. Our judge for the day was the famous John Gammon of the famous Ravenrush CKCS kennel name. Nigel was show in sweeps by our dear friend Beth Verner.
